Thursday Night Social - Artist Call!
On Thursday, March 20th, 2025, CultureWorks Greater Philadelphia will be hosting Thursday Night Social: Industry Night Happy Hour, an evening of drinks, food, and art - celebrating the service industry workers of Philadelphia.
This event is a part of CultureWorks’ Third Thursdays series.
Artwork created by select service industry members will be showcased during TNS - if you’re interested in participating, keep reading and fill out the interest form below!
The deadline to submit this interest form is February 21, 2025.
Guidelines:
There is limited space available - approximately 20 artists will be selected for the event. While all submissions are up to CW’s final discretion, consider the initial application first come, first served!
At the end of the day, the source of your inspiration and what you create is up to you - however, it would be appreciated if your artwork connects to one of 3 main themes:
🎶 Playlist of the evening will consist of majority soul/funk/r&b artists
🏙️ Philly appreciation/love/discovery
🍽️ Experiences had, lessons learned, relationships formed, improvements/diminishments to self, in the service industry. Basically, how has the industry served you?
Ready-to-submit = Ready-to-display. CW will provide easels if necessary. Artwork will not be hung up, and will only be on display during the duration of the event on March 20, 2025.
Artists will be compensated in-kind with a 1 month Communal Membership pass to the CultureWorks coworking space (market rate $100/month). Learn more about membership here.
