Join CultureWorks Greater Philadelphia as we celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. This May, we are amplifying the voices & traditions of our members who are of Asian or Pacific Islander descent. This year’s theme is “Advancing Leaders Through Collaboration,” which is something our members continue to demonstrate as they align around mission + values.
We continue to be inspired as our members mobilize communities, share resources and persevere cultures pushing us all towards greater acceptance of one another. Their experiences, expressions and identities are celebrated not only this month, but every month!
We would be remiss if we didn’t acknowledges the increase in discrimination and violence against Asians and Pacific Islanders. Hate of any kind toward Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities will not be accepted on any of our platforms.

Calm Clarity works to close disparities and create a world where all human beings and communities thrive together. Join Calm Clarity on Sunday, May 22, from 1-5PM, via zoom for Community Healing & Peace Program.
Cambodian American Girls Empowering (CAGE) works to create safe spaces for the exploration of Cambodian American arts, culture and identities. Join them for family-friendly Cambodian Mask Making Workshop on Sunday, May 8, from 2-3:50PM.
LAOS In The House brings together Lao & Laotian Americans in continuing their cultural legacy through storytelling and the arts. Check out their video series, House Guests highlighting a few of the interesting people they've met. Get comfy as they drop by homes, studios and workspaces to get in-depth perspectives on their interviewees.
Olney Culture Lab celebrates cultural assets by designing and producing events and programs that showcase the multitude of diverse cultural expression found in the greater Olney neighborhood of Philadelphia. By strengthening networks in the community and creating strategic alignment of cultural assets and resources. Come out and join Olney Culture Lab for this year's Revival Walks at Tacony Creek Park! Every second Saturday morning from May through October, immerse yourself in nature right in your own backyard!
