Organizational Effectiveness Grants: strengthen and improve the business and operational practices:
Strategic Planning, Board Development, Leadership Development, Program Evaluation/Development, Strategic Relationships, Business & Finance, Management & Operations

General Operating Support: unrestricted funds for use by high-performing nonprofits

This grant provides funding to organizations of up to $30,000, but not more than 7% of the project's budget. Must have received a General Operating Support or Organizational Effectiveness grant from The Philadelphia Foundation in previous year. -
Funds for Children: Strategic Investment in Youth

Funds for Children: Fund For Children Supporting Grants

This initiative funds programs serving children at birth to 18 years old with grants of up to $10,000 (but no more than 10% of project's operating budget) -
Funds for Children: YOUTHadelphia Overall
Deadlines: Spring - end of March/beginning of April; Fall - end of October/beginning of November
This initiative funds programs serving children 12 to 18 years old with grants of $5,000 in the Spring and $10,000 in the Fall. -
Henrietta Tower Wurts Grants: for programs or GOS projects serving disadvantaged children and youth and/or the elderly in the City of Philadelphia.
Deadlines: 2/1, 5/1, 9/1
This initiative provides funding to organizations with operating budgets under $3M with grants that range from $1,000 to $7,000.
