The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage - Funding Opportunities

"By supporting area leaders who think ambitiously and innovate boldly in their public offerings, who are rigorous in their programmatic processes, who employ prudent governance and management practices, and who are adventurous in the ways they interact with their audiences; and, By advancing the fields we serve through research and knowledge-sharing on distinctive, imaginative, and effective practices."

Performance Exhibitions and Public Interpretation - Discussion prior to LOI deadline with Pew staff (must happen at least 2 weeks prior to LOI deadline), LOI is submitted online, following application upon approval. The LOI is due in November, with the application due in March. Funding for projects/organizations ranges up to $300,000, and for individuals ranges up to $60,000.

Pew Fellowships - Artists are nominated by 30 nominators and invited to apply, nominations are in December, with applications due in late January. Pew fellowships are for individuals and range up to $75,000

Advancement - Pew seeks to support high-performing institutions undertaking bold, innovative organizational initiatives. Pew's Advancement initiative seeks to fund organizations with budgets of $300,000 or more, and provides grants of up to $500,000.
