Racheline Maltese is a performer and storyteller focused on themes of sex, gender, desire and mourning. She also works as an independent scholar on pop-culture topics and is a regular speaker at fan and academic conferences. Her first novel, Starling (co-written with Erin McRae) will be released by Torquere Press in 2014.
Racheline's training includes a journalism degree from The George Washington University, as well as acting and directing coursework at the Atlantic Theater Company Acting School (New York City) and the National Institute of Dramatic Art (Sydney, Australia). Racheline also voiced Desire and Delirium in a benefit performance of Neil Gaiman’s The Sandman for the CBLDF.
She is a co-founder of Treble Entendre, a musical theater production company dedicated to musicals with subtext that makes you want to sing, and Avian 30, a literary collective dedicated to narratives with magical and sexual realism.
She actually lives in New York City.
