Kristin McLaughlin has been working as an actress and director in NYC for over two decades. Recently she assistant directed the Revival of Lend Me a Tenor on Broadway, directed by Stanley Tucci, (3 Tony nominations including Best Revival of a Play), directed The Incredibly Deaf Musical at The Duke Theatre in NYC, Ave. Q at The Geva Theatre (voted Best of Rochester 2012), Spamalot and Next to Normal (voted Best of Cape Cod) at The Cape Rep Theatre, and Lydia (world première). As an actor Kristin performed in over 20 countries worldwide and has been lucky enough to work with many inspiring actors including Justin Bartha, Tony Shalhoub, Anthony LaPaglia, Paul Rudd, Jan Maxwell, and Nicole Kidman.
Kristin recently moved to West Chester, PA where she is on the Advisory Board of Uptown Entertainment Alliance, which is in the process of creating a state of the art theatre which will house a professional theatre company which Kristin will artistic direct. She is also the founder of Artists for Elephants, a not-for-profit organization that protects elephants in Thailand, earned a BFA in musical theatre from Emerson College, and studied conservation biology with a fellowship at Columbia Universityʼs Graduate
Certificate Program in NYC.
